Buying a dog
Oh yes, I have seen that gorgeous Husky pup last Sunday. I can pick him up on Thursday. So nice, the breeder said that he is 6 weeks old, but very grown-up for his age. I live on the 8th floor of a flat and I work 10 hours a day. The breeder says that this is no problem.
Is this exaggerated? Buying a puppy dog on a whim without considering the consequences happens on a daily basis. Does the dog fit in the family, what are the living circumstances, how to deal with children living in the house, holidays etc.
If you want to have a dog, you have to make some choices.
Do we want a pedigree or a crossbreed, do we want a male dog or a female? Is it going to be a pup or do we prefer a grown-up, perhaps a bit calmer dog?
When we advise you on buying a dog, we will thoroughly discuss all the matters influencing the choice for a certain breed and we cover all the consequences you may not have considered yet.
